Join our team for a Gastroenterology assignment in Washington, with a call-only 7 AM - 7 AM schedule. Perform a variety of GI procedures with strong support and anesthesia assistance.

Schedule:

• 7 AM - 7 AM call schedule
• Ongoing coverage is needed with specific dates 
  • July - December 

Practice Setting:

• Average of 5-8 procedures per day with 3-6 new inpatient consultations per day
• Support staff includes 2 RNs, 1 MA, and 1 APP
  • Anesthesia support is readily available during day shifts 

Cases and Procedures:

• Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices), ERCP, and lower GI endoscopy
• Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), colonoscopy (with biopsy and excision of polyp), and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
