A recognized healthcare organization in Missouri is actively seeking a licensed Psychiatrist to join one of its inpatient facilities in St. Louis County.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (1 weekend per month)
• Hours: 8am to 4:30pm (8-hour days, 30-minute unpaid lunch)
• Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry

Responsibilities:

• Performing 24-hour evaluations
• Conducting psychological and psycho-educational testing
• Providing electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)
• Evaluating psychiatric, behavioral, or addictive disorders
• Managing acute psychiatric conditions

Qualifications:

• Must have relevant experience in an Acute Psychiatric Unit
• M.D./D.O. degree with Psychiatry residency
• BLS Certified
• Missouri or IMLC Medical License
• EPIC EMR proficiency
• Knowledge of pharmacotherapy and other treatment techniques
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Desired Skills:

• Experience with ECT treatment
• Mental Health specialization
• Proficiency in Spanish or another relevant language
