Exploring Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Jobs

PM&R physicians expect tremendous growth and opportunities. The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) foresees a potential shortage of around 124,000 doctors by 2034. Primary care will bear the shortage brunt. However, specialties such as physiatry practice anticipate a demand ranging from 3,800 to 13,400 PMR jobs.

Over two out of every five active US physicians will reach 65 or older in the next decade. These seasoned doctors, including those specializing in brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and physical therapy, will soon retire. The demand for experienced healthcare professionals like you is set to surge.

Physiatrists treat pain, but they also do so much more—they transform lives. Are you ready to step up and make a profound impact? Take these insights with you as you search for the highest-paying physiatry jobs.
