Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist Elko, NevadaFlexible Monthly Call Coverage | IMLC Accepted | Low-Volume | Beeper CallWe are seeking Pediatric Hospitalists to provide low-volume, beeper call coverage in Elko, Nevada. This is a flexible and ongoing locum tenens opportunity starting in January 2025, with urgent July 2024 coverage also available due to a cancellation.This is an excellent fit for providers looking to supplement their income with minimal disruption to their primary practice or lifestyle.Key Details:
  • Location: Elko, Nevada
  • IMLC Accepted NV license or IMLC required
  • Urgent Coverage Needed: July 21 @ 7:00 AM July 25 @ 7:00 AM (due to cancellation)
  • Ongoing Need: Starting January 2025
  • Schedule: Call-only, 710 days/month (flexible based on your availability)
  • Number of Providers Needed: 2
  • Call Type: Beeper call
  • Response Time: 30 minutes
Clinical Details:
  • Setting: Community hospital with 25 Med/Surg beds + 7 ICU beds
  • Average Call Volume: 23 patients per shift
  • Responsibilities:
    • Inpatient admissions
    • Assigned/unassigned rounding
    • Low patient census
  • EMR: MEDHOST
Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Active NV license or IMLC-eligible
  • PALS & NRP Required
  • Pediatric Hospitalist Fellowship Preferred but not required
