Call Structure: 12-hour or 24-hour call coverage depending on schedule

• Inpatient pediatric floor only

• No NICU or newborn nursery responsibilities

• Average of 26 newborns per day on service (excluded from locum responsibilities)

• Level I Nursery

• 36 Med/Surg beds within GCHSWF

• 70 NICU beds (NICU handled by dedicated team)

• Current team: 6 physicians; hiring for 3 more (goal: 9 total)

• Two experienced NPs (one in nursery, one on pediatric floor, each with 25+ years of experience)

• Rounding on general pediatric patients

• Performing admissions

• Coordinating with pediatric subspecialists

• **Must be proficient and independent in lumbar punctures

• Board Certified in Pediatrics Required

• Active Florida Medical License Required

• NICA Membership/Receipts Required

• BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) Required

• NPDB report (within last 3 months) Required

• Current CV Required

• Case Logs:

• Must include 24 inpatient records from the past 12 months

• Logs must be from a primary source (no personal logs)

• Preferably include patient ages

• December coverage is a top priority
