A facility is seeking a pediatric hospitalist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Hazleton, PA.
We are seeking a board-certified Pediatric Physician Assistant with an active PA license to fill 10-12 flexible 24-hour in-house shifts per month. Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, performing newborn resuscitations, managing newborns in the Level 1 Nursery, and providing care for the small inpatient pediatric unit (census 0-1). Neonatologists are available via telemedicine or phone, and the facility averages about 700 deliveries per year. Circumcision ability is preferred, and EPIC experience should be highlighted. Credentialing may take up to 90 days, with a max bill rate of <$250/hour. We plan to add APPs in 2025.
