Locums OB Hospitalist Monroe, New YorkLocation
  • Monroe, NY
Assignment Details
  • Start Date: 03/02/2026 (ASAP)
  • Contract Length: Ongoing
  • Specialty: OB (95%) / GYN (5%)
  • Minimum Coverage: 34 weeks per month
  • Patient Population: Teenagers and adults
Schedule
  • 1 24-hour hospital shift per 7 days (provider must be in-house, not on pager)
    • Room available next to L&D for waiting
  • 2 8-hour clinic days per week (MondayFriday)
  • Patients per Day: ~14 (every 30 minutes)
  • EMR: eClinicalWorks
  • Hospital Setting: Community health centers
  • Department: 5 other OB providers + midwife supportClinical Responsibilities & Setting
    • Onsite ultrasound
    • Deliveries performed at neighboring hospital
    • ~1,500 deliveries per year
    • Support staff for call: LPN, MA, receptionist, other doctors
    Licensure, Certification, & Requirements
    • Board Certified (BC) in OB/GYN only BE not accepted
    • State License: Active NY required (local candidates only)
    • DEA License: Required

    • Delivery coordination (offsite)
    • Clinic and hospital rounding
