Locums Rapid City, South Dakota, OB Hospitalist Opening
  • Clinical Role:

    • 12- or 24-Hour Shifts: 24
    • Shifts per block needed to be filled by agency: 10
    • Expected timeframe for need: ASAP. APAY in place until August 6
    • Root cause for opening req: : Recruiting challenges
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Board Certified and Truly BE
    • Is COVID vaccine required, or will the site allow exemption requests? Exemptions ok
    • PPD: 10-15
    • NICU Level: III
    • Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 167
    • Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 40-50
    • Estimated Patient Encounters for Hospitalists (not including deliveries) (monthly): 318
    • MFM: 1 day per week on-site & available for consults
    • Residency Program
    • In-house Anesthesia
    • Hospitalists to Provide GYN CoverageEmergency only
    • Hospitalists Required to Perform Circumcisions: No
    • Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
    • First Assist Available to the Hospitalists
    • Hospitalists to Backup Midwives
    • Hospitalists to Backup Family Practice
    • Backup Available to the Hospitalists
