Job Description

Locums Elizabethtown, KentuckyOB Hospitalist (IMLC Accepted)**Key Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible OBGYN REQUIRED
  • Licensure: Kentucky license Preferred (or in process) IMLC / Compact license accepted
  • Experience: Recent OBGYN clinical experience within the last 12 months REQUIRED
  • Availability: Providers with ongoing/consistent availability needed
  • Coverage Model: 24/7 in-house OB Hospitalist coverage
Clinical ScopeHospitalists will manage and participate in:
  • OB triage, admissions, inpatient care
  • Deliveries for unassigned patients + private call coverage
  • Emergency response for L&D, antepartum, postpartum, ER
  • Floor consults for unassigned GYN emergencies
  • Surgical assists for cesarean sections
  • Collaboration with neonatology, nursing, and other specialties
  • Evidence-based, team-oriented clinical practice environment
Location Highlights
  • < 45 minutes south of Louisville, KY
  • ~2 hours from Nashville, TN
  • ~2 hours from Evansville, IN and Cincinnati, OH
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN
  • Comfortable in a high-acuity, team-based inpatient environment
  • Strong clinician with dependable ongoing availability
  • Recent hands-on OBGYN practice experience
