A healthcare organization Connecticut is seeking a Family or Internal Medicine Physician at one of its facilities in Hartford County.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
• Hours: 24 hours per week; ideally 10 hours on Monday and Friday, and 4 hours on Wednesday afternoon
• Setting: Outpatient primary care

Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient primary care for adult patients
• Deliver comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for common primary care needs
• Work collaboratively with medical assistants and other clinical support staff
• Maintain an efficient patient flow while delivering high-quality care

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Experience providing outpatient primary care to adult patients
• Ability to work the scheduled weekday hours in the outpatient setting

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in a community-based medical group
• Comfort managing a steady patient volume in an ambulatory environment
• Experience collaborating with on-site clinical support staff
