Locum Tenens AnesthesiologistLocation: Sun City Center, FloridaFacility Type: Community HospitalLicensed Beds: 138Number of ORs: 4 ORs + 4 NORAAnesthesia Model: Supervised (2 MDs / 4 CRNAs)Assignment Overview
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Current Need:
    • Full-Time and PRN Coverage
    • Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
    • Call: Every other week, 5:00 PM 7:00 AM (FridayThursday)
    • Ideally, same provider covers both days and corresponding call week
Clinical Volume & Case Mix
  • Annual Surgical Cases: 2,2002,400
  • Case Types:
    • Heavy Orthopedics
    • No OB
    • No Open Hearts
    • No Transplants
Call Coverage
  • Call Requirements: Every other week preferred, but no mandatory call at this time
  • Available Shifts: Specific dates and weeks to be provided
Licensing & Credentialing
  • State License: Florida license required
  • Board Certification: BC/BE in Anesthesiology preferred
  • Certifications: BLS/ACLS (confirm requirements with client)
  • Privileges: Temporary/emergency privileges may be requested for faster onboarding
