CRNA Locums Opportunity Wilmington, North Carolina

This Level II hospital in Wilmington is seeking skilled CRNAs to fill a set-schedule locums role with strong anesthesiology support and a well-defined scope. Enjoy an organized rotation and reliable overnight coverage with opportunities to handle general and neuro caseswithout hearts or pediatric responsibilities.

Position Details:

• Start Date: August 18, 2025

• Schedule:

  • CRNA #1: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off (set schedule)

  • CRNA #2: 3x12s Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights (7 PM 7 AM)

• Location: Hospital-based, Level II facility

• Setting: OR only

• EMR: Epic

Clinical Information:

• Case Volume: 37 cases per day

• Patient Population: Adults

• Procedures: Primarily general and neuro cases

  • Spinal anesthesia and OB experience preferred, but not required

• Support at Night:

  • 3 in-house CRNAs

  • One anesthesiologist on-site

  • Call backup: Pediatric CRNA and cardiac CRNA

  • Typically 2 ORs open at night, with dedicated OB/trauma coverage

  • On-site call rooms available for rest between cases

• CRNAs are medically supervised by anesthesiologists

Requirements:

• NBCRNA Certified Required

• Active NC License Required (or Compact License accepted)

• ACLS, BLS, and DEA Required

• Credentialing Timeline: Approx. 90 days
