• 7-day coverage periods from Friday to Friday -- clinic 8am - 5pm plus night call
• 16 patient encounters per shift with 3-5 average patients seen
• 15 - 20 phone consults per coverage period
• Call response time 30 minutes -- 1:5 call ratio
• Both inpatient and outpatient rounding required
• Monthly recurring assignments available
