Urology Locum Opportunity Billings, Montana7-Day Block Assignments | High-Demand Coverage | Ongoing Need

We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to support an ongoing locums need in Billings, Montana. This is a unique opportunity for providers who can commit to 7-day blocks (Friday to Friday), with an orientation day prior to starting. Youll work in a well-supported, stroke-certified hospital with excellent resources and a collaborative clinical team.

Position Details:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Ongoing monthly need

• Coverage Schedule:

  • Clinic: MondayFriday, 8 AM 5 PM

  • Call: Nightly from 5 PM 8 AM, plus full weekend call (Saturday 8 AM Monday 8 AM)

• Must be available for full 7-day blocks (no partial coverage)

• Orientation takes place the Thursday before the assignment begins

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Clinic Volume: ~16 patients per day

• Phone Consults: 1520

• Call Patients Seen: 35

• Admissions: 3 per shift

• Call Ratio: 1:5

• Call Back Rate: ~20%

• Response Time: 30 minutes

Facility Details:

• 14-bed facility

• Trauma Levels I and III

• Stroke certified

• EMR: Cerner

• Facility is open to rotating providers, but each assignment must be filled by the same provider

Candidate Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology

• Fellowship training preferred

• Active BLS certification

• Strong clinical skills and ability to manage call independently
