Job Description

Locums Des Moines, Iowa, Trauma Surgery Opening (IMLC Accepted)Clinical Role:

    • Dates of Coverage: September 23 @ 0700 - September 30 @ 0700 and December 23 @ 0700 - December 30 @ 0700. With possible future dates.
    • Level 2 Trauma
    • EMR: Hospital (Cerner), Clinic (AllScripts)
    • Patient Demographic: Adult; Geriatric
    • Candidate would be covering EGS shifts. Hospital based practice with clinic 1 to 2 times a week to see follow up patients after surgery
    • Locum provider will be covering emergency general surgery
    • Credentialing timeline: 45 days
    • Board Certified - Required (Must be double Boarded in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care)
    • Active IA License or IMLC - Required
    • ACLS, ATLS - Required
    • Must be available for dates listed in job - Required
