A health services organization in New Jersey is actively seeking a new Orthopedic Surgeon to provide critical orthopedic care at a leading medical facility.

About the Opportunity:

• Assignment Length: Until December 2026
• Schedule: Flexible, 5-7 days per month
• Hours: 24-hour on-call
• Setting: Hospital, not a trauma center

Responsibilities:

• Providing 24-hour unrestricted orthopedic on-call coverage
• Performing 2-3 orthopedic procedures per shift, including hip fracture cases
• Conducting Emergency Department consults, such as hand injuries
• Managing daily consult volume of 8-10 patients
• Coordinating post-discharge care
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey license or ability to obtain
• Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
• Strong decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced Medical Degree
• Certification in Orthopedic Trauma Care
• Experience with Orthopedic Trauma and ED consults
• Proficiency in Surgical techniques
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
