Job Description

Locums OB/GYN Hospitalist JobLocation: Hickory, North CarolinaSetting: Inpatient Call OnlyOpen Dates (2025):
  • October: 22, 23, 26
  • November: 10, 13, 19, 22, 23, 30
  • Additional need expected between September 11 December 31, 2025
  • Ongoing needs anticipated through 2026
Shift Structure:
  • 24-hour call only (7 AM 7 AM)
  • No clinic coverage
  • Call Type: 2nd Call / Backup
  • Call Ratio: 1:3
  • Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Clinical Details:
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Patients per Shift: 38
  • Facility Beds: 8
  • Assigned rounding patients
  • Admissions required
Requirements:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Required
  • ACLS & BLS Required
  • Active North Carolina Medical License Required
