Locums OB Hospitalist Greeley, ColoradoLocation
  • Greeley, CO
Availability and Coverage
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Coverage Type: Locums OB Hospitalist
  • Schedule: TBD (hospitalist model)
Labor & Delivery Coverage Model
  • 24/7 board-certified emergency medicine physicians in-house
  • RN and resident staffed
  • Patients seen by resident prior to discharge
  • All patients seen by a physician prior to discharge
  • No OBED; OB Triage only
  • Approximately 125 patients per month seen in triage
Facility and Volume
  • Annual Hospital Deliveries (2024): 1,360
  • Unassigned Walk-in Deliveries (last 12 months): 100
  • Anticipated OB Hospitalist Deliveries:
    • Approximately 30 private deliveries per month
  • NICU Level: Level IIIPatient Care Responsibilities
    • Obstetrics: Primary role
    • Gynecology: Yes (details TBD)
    • OB backup coverage for:
      • Private OB patients (TBD)
      • Hospital-employed Certified Nurse Midwives
      • Possible Family Practice Physicians (TBD)
    • Two Certified Nurse Midwives with the clinicBackup and Specialty Support
      • OB/GYN Backup:
        • Four OB groups in the area
        • Backup coverage structure TBD
      • Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM):
        • 24/7 telephone support via Mednax
        • Onsite high-risk clinic 46 days per monthLicensure and Certifications (Expected)
          • Colorado Medical License or ability to obtain
          • Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
          • BLS and ACLS required
          • NRP preferred (confirm with facility)
