LocumsNeonatologist Opportunity Baltimore, MarylandAvailability
  • Coverage Type: Per Diem
  • Shift Type: Nights
    • Weekdays: 5:00 PM 8:00 AM
    • Weekends: 6:00 PM 8:00 AM
  • Monthly Volume: ~12 night shifts per month
  • Dates Needed:
    • February: 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28
    • March: 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29
    • April: 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11Licensure & Certifications
      • Active Maryland Medical License: Required(IMLC not accepted due to upcoming dates)
      • Board Certified Neonatology: Required
      • NPDB Self-Query: Required at presentation
      • Clinical Activity: Active within the last 12 months (Required)
      • Experience: Minimum 6 months recent Neonatology experience (Required)
      Practice Setting
      • Facility: Community hospital with Childrens Hospital services
      • NICU: Level III, 21 beds
        • ~1,600 deliveries/year
        • ~180 NICU admissions/year
        • Average Daily Census: 13
      • Support Staff: Neonatologists, Pediatric Residents, NICU Nurses, Neonatal Respiratory Therapists
      • Coverage Includes: NICU & Well Baby NurserySubspecialty Support
        • On-site Pediatric Surgery, GI, Heme-Onc, ID, Neurology
        • Pediatric Cardiology supported through affiliated hospital
        Clinical Systems
        • EMR: Baby Steps
