Sarasota/Bradenton, Florida, Hematology/Oncology Job Opportunity
  • Clinical Role:
  • Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!
  • 3 Physicians in practice with support staff to include; APPs, RNs, MAs, Front office staff, financial counselors, dietitians, behavior health, in house radiology, radiation oncology
  • Clinical scope is a mix of solid tumors and Hematology (probably more heavier on solid tumors)
  • Average patient volume per doc:*20- 30 patients per day *once physician is ramped up- no high expectations at beginning, but there is also a doctor retiring so a robust practice to benefit new physician starting
  • M-F, 8am 5pm schedule full-time only clinic and rounding at area hospitals
  • Weekday and Weekend call schedules: 1:3 with APP on call to do rounding, night call during week-typically do not get called in on weekday call, rotate with other associates, hospitalist team as well, do not admit as attending, only consults -very rare get hospital call on weeknight coverage

  • REQUIREMENTS:
  • Prefer Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO Licenseor IMLC
  • BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
  • Rotating rounding/call is required
