• Provider Type: MD or DO

• Specialty: OB/GYN

Licensure, Certifications & Credentials

• Medical License: Active Alaska license (required)

• DEA: Active DEA (required)

• Certifications:

  • BLS required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

• Recent Clinical Activity:

  • Case logs required demonstrating relevant clinical activity within the last 24 months per privileging requirements

Practice Setting

• Privileges: Clinic and Hospital

• Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient

• Hospital Size: 25 beds total

  • 5 Labor & Delivery beds

• Coverage Model:

  • Rounding and admissions required

  • Always a second OB/GYN on call

  • 24/7 Emergency Department and hospitalist support

• Solo Coverage: No

Patient Volume & Demographics

• Clinic: Approximately 10 patients per day

• Labor & Delivery: 02 patients per day

• Patient Population: Primarily adults with some pediatric and geriatric patients

Scope of Practice & Procedures

• Scope: Full-scope general OB/GYN

• Procedures:

  • No expectation for scheduled surgeries

  • May assist or act as first assist if additional coverage is needed
