A University Hospital is seeking a maternal and fetal medicine physician for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in New Jersey.

The facility is seeking Maternal Fetal Medicine coverage starting in March on an ongoing basis. The locums physician will provide highrisk obstetrical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including ultrasound interpretation, fetal diagnostic procedures, and consultations for preterm labor, hypertensive disorders, diabetes, and placental abnormalities. The role includes supervising and interpreting perinatal diagnostic studies, performing prenatal consultations for complex maternal and fetal conditions, managing inpatient highrisk obstetric patients, participating in multidisciplinary care planning, and supervising sonographers while collaborating with MFM physicians, genetic counselors, residents, fellows, and APPs. The provider will also take call, assisting onsite in L&D with medically complex deliveries. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with call from 5pm-8am. Patient volume includes 130-150 scans per day and approximately 40 patients per day. The position requires ABOG certification, and support staff includes nurses, ultrasound techs, and MSAs. An APN is part of the division, though the locums provider will not be part of the collaborative agreement.
