A short-term acute care hospital with a variety of caseload is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located north of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
This position offers 8- and 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday with a 7 AM start, and no call required. Case types include basic ENT (tonsils, sinuses), orthopedic (hands, shoulders, kneeswith blocks), gynecology, urology (stones), general surgery, cataracts, and uncomplicated OB. Candidates should be comfortable with labor epidurals and preferably able to perform interscalene blocks. Uncomplicated pediatric cases include tonsils, BMTs, and dental. There are no neonates, hearts, heads, or spine cases. The daily caseload ranges from 10 to 20 cases.
