Locums OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity Bardstown, KentuckyInpatient Role | Multiple 2024 Dates Available | Competitive Pay + Referral BonusRecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist for locum tenens coverage in Bardstown, KY. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-supported inpatient setting at a rural hospital with a manageable patient volume.Position OverviewCoverage Dates:

July: 1113, 23, 24, 28, 29
August: 13, 14, 18, 19, 27, 28
September: 10, 11, 15, 16, 1921, 29, 30
October: 15, 16, 20, 21, 2931
December: Additional dates to be determined

Shift Details:

Inpatient coverage
On first call during shifts
No midwives on staff

Setting:

Rural hospital with estimated 30 deliveries/month
Admissions vary due to rural setting

Clinical Responsibilities

Patient rounding
Labor management
Antepartum triage and treatment
Responding to ED consults for OB/GYN concerns

Required Procedures:

Vaginal deliveries
C-sections
Management of maternal hypertension and hemorrhage
D&C
Ablations
Hysterectomy
Other urgent gynecologic surgeries as needed

Support & Technology

EMR: Epic
Support Staff: RN team on Labor & Delivery
Security and hospitalist team onsite

Requirements

Board Certified in OB/GYN Required
Active Kentucky Medical License Required
ACLS & DEA Certification Required
Must be comfortable managing OB emergencies and gynecologic procedures independently
