Locums OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity Abingdon, VAStart July 38 | Ongoing PRN Coverage | 24-Hour Inpatient Call OnlyRecruitWell is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN for an inpatient-only hospitalist locums position in Abingdon, Virginia. This role is perfect for providers who enjoy 24-hour call shifts with minimal disruption and want to work with a supportive and experienced clinical team.Opportunity Highlights:

Start Date: July 38, 2025 (initial block)
Ongoing PRN coverage needed each month
Call Only: 24-hour inpatient call (7:00 a.m. 7:00 a.m.)
Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit inpatient only
Patient Volume: 2734 deliveries per month

Support & Facility Details:

On-call pediatrics and anesthesia available
Labor & Delivery RNs on-site
No VBACs vaginal deliveries and C-sections only
Special Equipment: JADE system used in delivery suite
EMR: Epic

Requirements:

Board Certified in OB/GYN preferred
Active Virginia medical license
Certifications: ALS, BCLS, DEA
Clean malpractice and work history required for quick credentialing
