Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner works as part of the clinic provider team performing a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients ranging from newborns to young adults of age 21. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner performs these functions under the general supervision of a licensed physician in a primary health care setting.
