Great group in New Orleans seeking full time, permanent Primary Care Nurse Practitioners to join their team. Bilingual English, Spanish/Vietnamese preferred. The office hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with Saturday rotation with the option of working two Saturday's a year from 8am - 12pm. They might consider part time, but prefer full time, EMR is Athena, average people per day is 15-18. They utilize a call service so the call schedule is light, just by phone, no hospital time and is on rotation.

Some responsibilities may include:
- Conducting physical examinations and medical assessments
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses and injuries
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribing medications and other treatments
- Educating patients and their families about health promotion, disease prevention, and self-care strategies
- Referring patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as needed
- Managing and coordinating care with other healthcare team members
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient records
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participating in quality improvement activities and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current registration in the State of Louisiana as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurse's Credentialing Center.
- A Master of Science degree in Nursing from a program accredited by the American Nurse's Association of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
- Must possess excellent clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and communication skills to effectively manage patient care.
- Must also adhere to legal and ethical standards of practice and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Clinical experience in community health a plus
