Duties - Perform specialized and technically demanding tests that require concentrated and considerable time and experience. - Review daily quality control and quality assurance data, recognizes and solves quality assurance problems. - Evaluate required documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. - Maintain required documentation to ensure compliance with various regulatory agencies. - Train and mentor junior technicians and other staff members. - Manufacturing of blood products in accordance with Current Good Manufacturing Practices. - Inventory and shipping of blood products. - Review donor and manufacturing records in accordance with Food and Drug Administration and Association for the Advancement of Blood and Biotherapies. - Assist the military and civilian supervisor in other related functions as required.
