Job Description
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Opportunity
Central Florida
A well-established anesthesia practice is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join a large, collegial anesthesia care team serving two hospital facilities in Central Florida.
Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available. Both experienced CRNAs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Practice Overview
The anesthesia care team includes approximately 20 anesthesiologists and 32 advanced practice providers covering two hospitals with a combined total of approximately 585 beds.
The primary facility is a Joint Commission-accredited Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The practice also serves as a clinical training site for student registered nurse anesthetists.
The anesthesia department performs approximately 12,000 cases annually across both locations, including approximately 700 cardiac cases per year.
Case Mix
CRNAs participate in a diverse range of cases, including:
- General surgery
- Gynecology
- ENT
- Urology
- Orthopedics
- Spine surgery
- Vascular surgery
- Cardiovascular surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Robotic surgery
- Gastrointestinal procedures
- Trauma
There are no obstetric or pediatric anesthesia responsibilities.

Schedule
Full-time CRNAs are generally scheduled for 80 hours every two weeks. Hours worked beyond 80 during the biweekly pay period are compensated at time and a half.
Available shifts may include:
- 8-hour shifts
- 10-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- 16-hour operating-room shifts
- 24-hour trauma shifts
There is no traditional overnight call requirement.
CRNAs generally participate in:
- One weekend shift per month
- Approximately four to five 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shifts per year
- No call responsibilities after 11:00 p.m.
Qualifications
Candidates must have:
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Current Florida APRN license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Additional certifications as required by the assigned clinical area
- ATLS certification when assigned to the trauma team
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within an anesthesia care team

Compensation
Annual compensation is based on experience and currently ranges from approximately $220,000 to $240,000.
Current salary levels include:
- $220,000 for one to two years of experience
- $225,000 for three to four years of experience
- $230,000 for five to seven years of experience
- $235,000 for eight to ten years of experience
- $240,000 for eleven or more years of experience
Applicable cardiac, trauma, or facility differentials may also be available.
Additional financial incentives may include:
- Start-date bonus of up to $45,000
- Annual retention bonus of $15,000 to $20,000
- Relocation reimbursement of up to $10,000
- Earn-while-you-learn assistance of up to $30,000 for qualifying students
- Long-term service bonus
- PRN compensation of approximately $150 per hour
- Time-and-a-half compensation for hours exceeding 80 per biweekly pay period
Bonus amounts, eligibility requirements, and commitment terms are subject to the final offer.
