A healthcare services organization in Westchester County is actively seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing Pediatric team in Yonkers. In this role, the Pediatric Nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessing the resident, planning interventions, and evaluating the outcome of care provided.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Shifts: Days or Nights
• Hours: 3 12-hour shifts 

Responsibilities:

The Pediatric Nurse (RN) will:

• Perform treatments and special care
• Administer medication and immunization, as ordered
• Confer with Physician or other health team members regarding patient care management
• Assist the Physician in performing physical examinations and treatments
• Evaluate the effects of prescribed treatment including orthotics and report same to appropriate disciplines
• Observe, report and record abnormal vital signs, seizures activity, other disease manifestations and other clinically significant data
• Participate in completing MDS. Revised care plan as resident condition changes
• Review medication administration records for completeness at end of shift
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BCLS certification

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year of Clinical experience in a Pediatric and/or Adolescent Chronic / Rehabilitative Care facility
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Nursing
