Multistate Telemedicine Remote Physician ' Wound Care

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate physician to join our dynamic wound care team in a flexible, part-time capacity. In this role, you will provide consultations, evaluations, and treatment plans for patients with chronic or acute wounds, utilizing telehealth technology to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have experience in wound management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to use telemedicine platforms effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess and diagnose wound-related conditions.
- Develop personalized care plans for wound healing, including recommendations for dressings, treatments, and interventions.
- Monitor patient progress through follow-up telemedicine visits and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as nurse practitioners and wound care specialists, to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients on wound care, preventive measures, and lifestyle adjustments to improve healing outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with telemedicine regulations and standards of care.
- Provide remote support to patients and caregivers, offering guidance on proper wound care techniques.

Qualifications:
- MD or DO with board certification in a relevant field (e.g., family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, dermatology, or surgery)
- Proven experience providing telemedicine consultations or using telehealth platforms.
- Strong clinical knowledge of wound assessment, treatment protocols, and management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical information clearly to patients remotely.
- Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload effectively.
- Active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S., with the ability to practice across multiple states or willingness to obtain licenses in additional states, including the following: AL, FL, IL, KY, MD, NY, PA, TN, TX, VA, WI.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and telemedicine platforms.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Preferred Skills:
- Certification in wound care (e.g., CWSP, CWS) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience in managing telemedicine-based practices or virtual healthcare teams.
