Job Description

Locum Tenens Radiologist (ED Coverage)Location: Detroit, MichiganCoverage Type: Remote Overnight EDKey Availability
  • Start Date: ASAP Ongoing
  • Providers Needed: 2
  • Coverage Need:
    • 23 weeks per month preferred
    • Will consider candidates available 1 week per month
  • Minimum Commitment: 7 shifts per month
Schedule & Coverage
  • Shift: Overnight ED coverage
  • Hours: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM (EST)
  • Call: None
  • Work Location: Remote
Clinical Volume & Support
  • Average ED Volume: 80120 cases per 8-hour shift
  • Overnight Coverage Model:
    • 23 residents on overnight
    • 1 attending radiologist
  • Resident Teaching: REQUIRED
Licenses & Certifications
  • Board Certification: Radiology REQUIRED
  • Medical License: Active Michigan license REQUIRED
  • DEA: Not required (DEA waiver required)
  • BLS: Required (not required if working remotely, per site guidance)
Systems & Workflow
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Admissions: Required
  • Rounding Patients: Unassigned
