Locums Breast Imaging Radiologist Urbana, IllinoisASAP Start | MondayFriday | No Call | High-Level Support | Epic EMR | IMLC AcceptedPosition Overview:A top-tier multispecialty group in Urbana is seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist with a focus on Breast Imaging to join their team on a locums basis. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with strong support staff and advanced imaging capabilities.
  • Start Date: ASAP Ongoing
  • Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch, 121 PM)
  • Setting: Outpatient only
  • Department Size: 3 Radiologists
  • Hospital Size: 453-bed facility | Level I Trauma Center
  • EMR: Epic
Case Mix & Volume:
  • Average Daily Volume:
    • 80 screening mammograms, or
    • 24 diagnostic mammograms, or
    • 7 biopsies
  • Patient Demographics: 40% Adult | 59% Geriatric | 1% Adolescent | 0% Pediatric
Required Procedures:
  • Ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • Mammography/Tomosynthesis-guided biopsies
  • MRI-guided biopsies
  • Preoperative localization procedures
Support Provided:
  • Dedicated technologists, RNs, and MOAs
  • Multispecialty team environment
Qualifications:
  • MD/DO
  • Board Certified in Radiology
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging strongly preferred
  • Providers arerequired to have an MQSA certification
  • Active Illinois medical license Required or IMLC
