Medical Director / Attending Psychiatrist Locums | Modesto, CaliforniaFull-Time | Inpatient Psychiatry | Ongoing NeedStart Date: December 15, 2025 (ongoing)Setting: Inpatient Psychiatry (67-bed facility)EMR: CernerKey RequirementsLicensure & Certifications
  • Active California License Required
  • Board Certified Psychiatrist Required
  • BLS Required
Experience Requirements
  • Strong inpatient psychiatry background Required
  • Must be able to work full-time every week for patient continuity (no 1-week-per-month availability)
Schedule & Call DetailsWeekday Schedule
  • MondayFriday: 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
  • Scheduled clinic hours + assigned rounding patients
  • Patients per shift: Up to 17
  • Adults only (18+, no children)
Call Requirements
  • Call Type: Beeper
  • Call Response Time: 30 minutes
  • No overnight call
Weekend Coverage
  • 1 weekend per month
  • Rounding only: Saturday & Sunday 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m.
Clinical Responsibilities
  • Inpatient psychiatric care for adult patients
  • Admissions required
  • Assigned rounding patients
  • Medical Director + Attending responsibilities
  • Full-time presence needed for continuity of care
