A health services network on Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Pediatric Neurologist to provide care for pediatric patients and supervise medical trainees.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Days
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Standard business hours
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating and managing pediatric patients with neurologic concerns
• Providing inpatient and outpatient consultation and care
• Managing seizure disorders, headaches, and other conditions
• Supervising and teaching medical students, interns, and residents
• Developing a Pediatric EEG and video EEG program
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• MD/DO degree
• New York medical license
• Board Eligible in Pediatric Neurology
• Proficiency in managing pediatric neurologic disorders
• Strong teaching skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively
• Commitment to patient care

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with Pediatric EEG
• Board certification in Pediatric Neurology
