Providence Connections Palliative Care is seeking a Palliative Medicine Physician to join their established team at Providence Medford Medical Center in Southern Oregon. In this role, youll provide inpatient consult services working within an interdisciplinary team consisting of a nurse practitioner, social workers, registered nurse, and a chaplain. Successful candidates will have demonstrated clinical experience in Palliative Medicine. Connections Palliative Care is part of a growing integrated Home and Community Services program which collaborates with Hospice, Home Health, Geriatrics as well as hospital-based practitioners to care for patients and their families.

  • Fully benefitted position at 0.9 FTE
  • Monday - Friday schedule
  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Palliative Medicine Physician
  • Minimum of one year of post-graduate clinical experience in palliative care, hospice, geriatrics, and/or oncology care is preferred
  • Work with colleagues across different specialty areas providing a coordinated, compassionate, multidisciplinary approach.

Where Youll Work

Providence Connections is a Palliative Care consultation service for patients living with a serious illness. This interdisciplinary group helps patients and their families find needed resources to control symptoms associated with their illness and maximize quality of life, all while providing compassionate support. Teams of physicians, nurse practitioners, Palliative Care nurses, clinical social workers and chaplains work collaboratively with all members of patients care teams to provide holistic care.
