A health services network in Essex County, NJ is actively seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join its Occupational Health teams and provide coverage at its Lakewood and West Orange locations.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7:30am to 5pm
• Patient Load: 20 to 25 patients daily

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-placement physical examinations and return-to-work clearances
• Order and interpret diagnostic X-rays and laboratory results
• Perform initial and follow-up assessments for work-related injuries
• Administer medical surveillance and exposure treatments
• Conduct health screenings, substance testing (for cause), and fit-for-duty evaluations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Nurse Practitioner
• Active New Jersey Medical License
• Board Certified
• Valid CDS and DEA registrations
• DOT certification

Desired Skills:

• MRO certification
