A facility is seeking a neurologist for locum tenens coverage.

Explore historic sites like Fort Sumter, the Battery, and Rainbow Row, or take a carriage tour through the historic district. Relax on the beaches of nearby barrier islands like Folly Beach or Sullivan's Island.

The inpatient consult service provides onsite neurological care with providers working 7-12hour daytime shifts followed by 12 hours of call coverage. Consults include stroke, seizure, EEG interpretation and reading, and a range of other neurological conditions, along with APP supervision. Initial stroke evaluations are supported by an outside teleneurology service. The position requires the ability to read EEGs and includes onsite coverage from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., followed by call coverage from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Candidates must hold an active South Carolina medical license and maintain BLS certification. The service is supported by 24/7 APP coverage, and the practice is actively recruiting fulltime and parttime FTEs to join an established, dynamic fulltime neurologist. Clinical documentation is completed using Patient Keeper and Meditech EMRs.
