A hospital is seeking a vascular neurologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in northwestern Georgia.

This position is for an adult hospitalist role requiring board certification. The rotation includes one week on the floor, one week off, one week in the emergency department, followed by another week off. Shifts run from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday through Saturday. The average daily census is 10-25 patients, with 5-10 daily admissions and an estimated 15 patients per shift. There is no weekday or weekend call required. APP support is available, and the locum provider will not handle admissions. The facility prefers to work with one provider but may consider more. Licensing through the IMLC is acceptable, and the privileging process takes a minimum of 120 days.
