A healthcare facility for a large, non-profit, self-funded union/multi-employer benefit plan is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join a relaxed, collegial, friendly, and supportive care team.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Hours: 8:30 - 4:30pm
• Setting: Outpatient Office
• Patient Load: 8 Patients per day
• No night or call responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat a variety of common medical conditions.
• Manage chronic conditions, monitor patients' progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed to maintain optimal health.
• Educate patients about their health conditions and help them understand their treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Conduct regular physical examinations to assess a patient's overall health and detect early signs of diseases or health issues.
• Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring potential side effects and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Treat common acute illnesses, injuries, and infections
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records to ensure continuity of care and coordination with other healthcare providers.
• Perform other duties, as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Primary Care practicing experience
• BC in Internal Medicine
• NY State Medical License
• MD/DO from an American Medical School
• Authorization to work in the United States
