A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a new Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join their growing team in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity:

  • Specialty: Internal Medicine
  • Schedule: 7 days on; 7days off

Responsibilities:

The Internal Medicine Hospitalist will be responsible for:

  • Supervising residents on a busy inpatient service
  • Managing patients through the continuum of hospital care, including requesting appropriate tests, medication management, specialty consults
  • Coordinating the care of nursing and support staff
  • Writing discharge and follow-up notes and communicating with the patient's Primary Care Physician
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
  • Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine
