A healthcare organization in Massachusetts is actively seeking anexperienced, licensedPhysician to join their growingteam in Essex County as their newDirector of Hospitalist Medicine.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Hospitalist Medicine will be responsible for:

• Determinethevisionandstrategiesofthe program and assistinthebusinessdevelopmentofthe program
• Aligning the Program withthe hospital'smission of population health, patient experience and cost reduction
• Developingtheannualoperational planofthe programandsupervisingitsexecution
• Monitoring the service performance and executing performance appraisal of the program's staff members
• Monitoringthe program'scompliancewithpolicies
• Ensuring appropriate resource utilization andparticipate in Utilization Review work of the program
• Providingeducationaboutthe programtothe hospital community
• Ensuringasmoothhiringand on-boarding processaccording to theserviceneedsofthe program
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice in the State of Massachusetts
• Board Eligible / Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine

Desired Skills:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Working knowledge of Meditech Expanse Electronic Medical Record system
