Locums Hematology/Oncology | Plymouth, IndianaOutpatient Locum-to-Perm OpportunityStart Date: March 2026Availability
  • Start: March 2026
  • End: March 2027
  • Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 a.m.4:30 p.m.
  • Setting: 100% Outpatient
  • No call and no hospital rounding
Required License & Certifications
  • Active Indiana Medical License
  • Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology
  • BLS Certification
Position & Practice DetailsPractice Setting
  • Outpatient Hematology/Oncology
  • Reason for coverage: New service line
Patient Population
  • Adults and Geriatrics
  • Practice mix: 50% Hematology / 50% Oncology / 0% Internal Medicine
Patient Volume
  • Outpatient: Approximately 30 patients per day
  • Hospital/Call: None
Clinical Area
  • Oncology Outpatient Setting
  • EMR: EPIC
Clinical ResponsibilitiesRequired Procedures
  • Management of VAD/CV catheters
  • Bone marrow biopsies
Required Duties
  • Tumor board participation
  • Management of bone marrow transplants
  • Ordering tests
  • Blood bank coordination
  • Ordering imaging
  • Prescribing
  • Chemotherapy administration (physician or nurse oncologist)
