New York Hospital Seeks Hematology/ Oncology Physician For Locum Tenens Coverage

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications required 
• COVID vaccination required 

Schedule:

• Start Date: July 1, 2024, with potential for extension
• Work Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Call: Very light call schedule, shared at 1:6

Cases & Procedures:

• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic with some inpatient responsibilities
• Patient Load: Manage approximately 16-20 patients per day
  • Initial consultations are scheduled for 1 hour, with 30 minutes allocated for follow-up visits
• Case Mix: See a range of cases, with an equal split between hematology and oncology
