Job Description

Locums Sylva, North Carolina, Gastroenterology OpeningClinical Role:

    • ASAP Ongoing
    • The hospital will be extending the needed shifts from weekends only to 24-7 coverage
    • Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
    • EMR: McKesson and Athena
    • Beds in Department: 86 bed hospital
    • Admissions Required
    • Assigned/Unassigned Patients
    • Board Certified/Board Eligible Required
    • Active NC License Required
    • Fellowship Preferred
    • BLS Required
    • Call Type: Beeper
    • Call Response Time Required: 30 minutes
    • Phone Consults 3+
    • Call Patients Seen: 10+
    • Call Ratio: 100%
    • Friday procedures would be the "bread and butter" GI procedures (ie. colonoscopies, scopes, etc)., primarily outpatient though they are completed in the hospital OR suite. Anesthesia support is available
    • ERCP will be required for GI locums
    • There is not an APP in service for assistance
