Locums Atlanta, GA Primary Care Physician OpportunityKey Details:

Start Date: ASAP (upon credentialing)
End Date: Through July 13, 2025
Schedule: Day shift (variable hours between 7:00 AM 7:00 PM), No call
Setting: Public health clinic (outpatient), serving homeless and underserved populations
Patient Volume: 1012 patients/day
Patient Population: Mostly adults (may also see pediatric and geriatric patients)
EMR: Epic
Support Staff: 6 mid-levels (NP/PAs); no supervisory or code response duties

Scope of Practice:

Clinical focus: Primary care for adults and children
May be trained to cover in HIV care and Integrated Behavioral Health as needed (not primary role)
Must be comfortable with pelvic exams, pap smears, and employment physicals
May be involved in clinic quality assurance, chart reviews, protocol compliance, and medical oversight (when needed under direction of Medical Director)

Credentialing & Requirements:

Local Candidates Only:
Mileage reimbursement only (up to $50/day)
No hotel, airfare, or rental car reimbursement
All other travel costs must be included in rate No exceptionsPreferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual (Spanish) Highly Preferred
- Experience with:
- Medically underserved and immigrant populations
- Homeless care
- Supervision of professional staff and/or clinic administration
