A health services network in Texas is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Emergency Department in Welasco to provide locum coverage.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 24-hour MD coverage; 16-hour NP/PA coverage
• Hours: 7am to 7pm or7pm to 7am (12-hour shifts)
• Setting: Micro-hospital Emergency Department

Responsibilities:

• Managing adult and pediatric emergency cases

• Stabilizing telemetry and medical cases
• Resuscitation leadership when needed
• Coordinating transfers for higher-acuity patients
• Collaborating with APP team
• Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in ABEM/ABOEM
• Active ATLS and PALS certification
• Active DEA registration
• Proficient in handling Trauma and Critical Care cases
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Effective communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Experience in lower-volume, micro-hospital settings
• Proficiency in Emergency Medicine procedures
