This facility supports a 26,000 annual volume ED that provides coverage in 12-hour shifts. There is a hospitalist program in place. The admit rate is 16%, and the EMR MedHost. The facility features a helicopter service and EMS base station. The transfer rate is 3-5%.

Physicians see a variety of cases from trauma to illness and patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. The nursing staff is very experienced. Specialty support includes cath lab, cardiothoracic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, GI, cardiology, interventional radiology, neurology, neurosurgery, OB/GYN, and more. Qualifications include board certified/prepared in emergency medicine or board certified/eligible in a primary care specialty with emergency medicine experience.
