Join a high-volume cardiothoracic team in a collaborative, well-supported environment. This locums position offers the potential for long-term engagement with a respected surgical program.

Position Details: Start Date: Late July 2025 Ongoing Schedule:? Inpatient: MondayFriday, 7:00a5:00p? Weekend Coverage: SatSun, 7:00a5:00p (rotating, based on census)? Onsite call every 4th weekend and rotating weeknights Potential for long-term placement

Practice Environment: Join a team of 3 cardiothoracic surgeons (2 tenured, 1 recent grad) Approx. 1,500 cases performed annually Only cardiothoracic surgery team in the county Part of 1 of 4 acute care hospitals in the area Supported by surgical PAs, Open Heart ICU APRNs, and clinic-based APRNs

Case Mix: Full scope of cardiac, aortic, and lung surgery No esophageal cases

Candidate Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery Active Florida medical license required Clean NPDB report (within past 3 months) required
