A healthcare system is seeking a dedicated General Cardiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Cardiologist will deliver comprehensive cardiac care, including consults, diagnostics, and hospital-based procedures.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Setting: Clinic and hospital coverage with call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient general cardiology services
• Perform non-invasive diagnostics, including echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology
• Manage consults, admissions, and rounding as needed
• Participate in weekend and holiday call coverage
• Collaborate with nurses, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document all encounters in EMR

Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active and unrestricted state medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• ACLS and BLS certifications

Desired Skills:

• Experience in both Inpatient and Outpatient General Cardiology
