General Cardiologist Locums Opportunity in Flagstaff, Arizona(IMLC Accepted Start ASAP)
Step into a high-demand cardiology role in the stunning mountain town of Flagstaff, Arizona. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide care in a well-established cardiovascular institute while enjoying the beauty and outdoor lifestyle of Northern Arizona.
Position Overview:
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Call: 12 weekends per month
Setting: Hospital-based cardiology coverage for an established Cardiovascular Institute
Facility Size: 268-bed hospital
Patient Volume: 1620 patients per day
Patient Population: Primarily age 60+
Team & Support:
Work alongside 2 experienced cardiologists
Full-time coverage needed
EMR: Cerner
What Were Looking For:
Board Certified in General Cardiology
Active AZ medical license or IMLC-eligible
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with both staff and patients
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 30 days
Interview format: Teams video interview
