Locums Prescott, Arizona, Non-Invasive Cardiology OpeningClinical Role:

  • Coverage Dates:
  • 10/21; 10/28-11/1; 12/23-12/27
  • The general cardiologist would be asked to cover Mon-Fri., 7am to 5pm
  • No on-call and provide in-patient rounding, consultations, read ECG, ECHO & nuclear studies
  • FTE: 1.0
  • EMR: CERNER
  • Support Staff: Clinic staff
  • Reason for Coverage: Additional locum to help cover the general inpatient side
  • Patient Population: 65+
  • Office patients per day: 11-12 unless on call, reduced to 7-8
  • Outpatient clinic, on call inpatient consults, study reading for both inpatient and outpatient
  • Procedures: 5-10 noninvasive at hospital, if they are invasive that would increase based on patient needs
  • Monthly Call Schedule: Usually, 1 weekday and every 5th weekend at this time
  • Board Certified Required
  • AZ License Required or IMLC
